I had weight problems for most of my life. Yet, 3 years ago it all changed!
Here is how I lost weight, and have kept it off for 3 years running.
First of all, you should know that I really wanted to lose my weight! I read every dieting book I could find, and scoured the web for information, and I even attended some courses, and I signed up for a gym membership which I rarely used.
Despite all my reading, and painstaking diets, I just could not keep off the weight. I decided that I’d have to learn to love being overweight, or stay on salad diets for the rest of my life – a bit depressing to say the least.
But “hope springs eternal” as they say!
A little over 3 years ago, I realised where the problem had been all along.
The reason I wasn’t losing weight was actually really simple…
My diets and exercise were messing up my lifestyle!
I realised my ideal diet should:
- Let me eat normal food
- Fit into my lifestyle
- Start working quickly
- Provide long term benefits
The answer suprised me
I went back through all the books and realised that it wasn’t 1 single diet that I needed. No, instead I needed the best parts from many different diets.
What I now practice is a simple set of “processes”. These are steps that I easily incorporate into my lifestyle. Each “process” is a simple thing that helps me to reach my weight loss goals, and stay there.
Over time, my friends noticed a change in my body. I was looking good for a change! A few envious friends asked what I was doing, so I shared my system with them.
We worked together for some time and shared similar results. But as the popularity grew, others started contributing their successful techniques.
Now we are sharing the processes online. We have contributions from many readers who have their own techniques to add to the system.
It has grown quite a lot, and I’d love to share my tips with you as well.
